This online module is designed to equip the participant with a basic understanding of opioid abuse and controlled substance diversion, as well as inventory recordkeeping and security requirements. The course meets the 2 hours of opioid training requirements of the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TBVME). Federal regulations concerning labeling, use, compounding, recordkeeping, and security of prescription of controlled drugs are addressed.
